[Twenty Twelve] 2 shortcodes side by side?? (contact form + google maps) (5 posts)

    Is it possible to add two shortcuts side by side on a page? As it stands, they are stacking on top of each other, despite both being within the appropriate width. Here is the page (the shortcodes in question are a contact form and a google map)

    I've tried using the align buttons within the dashboard editor, as well as creating a table in dreamweaver... I got the latter to work last night, but have since broken it and have been unable to trace back to exactly what I did.

    Obviously tables aren't the most ideal thing to be using, but I'm stumped for other ideas. Anyone? Thanks.

    Try:

    .entry-conten th {
     float: left;
    }

    Check whether that style messes up any other tables on other pages.

    Try;

    #cntctfrm_contact_form {
     float: left;
    }

    It wasn't playing nicely for some reason.. it turns out the shortcodes weren't technically stacked on top of each other, so it had to do with some strange vertical height issue (even though both cells were formatted to top-align). I ended up creating a "directions" page which I plugged the map into, so now the contact form is on it's own... figured this would be best to get rid of the table altogether and this it's actually more user-friendly to have a dedicated directions page, so I'm golden. Thanks for checking into this!
