    I've seen that the image doesn't use the set title, alt and caption. Why?

    Fabrizio

    I've made this test using post image:
    I've used the same image at the begin and in the post.

    In the code:
    at the begin
    <img width="1203" height="571" src="http://www.pivari.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Twenty-Thirteen-Pivari.com_.jpg" class="attachment-full" alt="Twenty Thirteen Pivari.com" /> </div><!-- .entry-media -->

    in the post
    <div id="attachment_23502" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 1213px"><img src="http://www.pivari.com/wp-content/plugins/lazy-load/images/1x1.trans.gif" data-lazy-src="http://www.pivari.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Twenty-Thirteen-Pivari.com_.jpg" alt="Twenty Thirteen Pivari.com (alt)" width="1203" height="571" class="size-full wp-image-23502" /><noscript><img src="http://www.pivari.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Twenty-Thirteen-Pivari.com_.jpg" alt="Twenty Thirteen Pivari.com (alt)" width="1203" height="571" class="size-full wp-image-23502" /></noscript><p class="wp-caption-text">Twenty Thirteen Pivari.com</p></div>

    I think it doesn't have update the data. Why?
    I'll test with a new post.

    This is a better test!
    http://www.pivari.com/wordpress/twenty-thirteen-post-image-test-23521/

    I've put the same image with the same description in the body.
    <img width="572" height="204" src="http://www.pivari.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Twenty-Thirteen-post-video.jpg" class="attachment-full" alt="Twenty Thirteen post video (alt)" /> </div><!-- .entry-media -->

    No title
    No caption

  7. Ah, so alt shows.

    I think the rest are as designed. Captions show in galleries.

    I have to agree with Fabrizio…

    Not having the caption showing on the single image is a poor design choice. And this will lead to a number of posts to forums wondering where it has gone when in every other post type it shows the caption below the image.

    My 2 cents…

    The data are in the db. Don't use all is not a good idea.

  10. Yes, but it's a theme choice and not a bug :) You can make a child theme that shows it if you want.

    Hi Mika

    It is actually a bug that the development team is looking into. So child theme-ing would not resolve the issue as of yet. It is also entirely possible the caption could return to twenty thirteen…

    For more info see trac ticket http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/23965

  12. Well yes and no.

    Not showing caption in the theme, in and of itself, if that is by design of the theme, is still not a bug.

    Not SAVING is a bug, as mindctrl noted.
