    Hey,

I have worked on a child theme of Twenty Ten for a while, trying to get everything where I want it and I still haven't quite got it all right - but both me and the client are happy.

I do have have a major issue with IE7, I can't see any other posts, so i realise this is probably something I've done by accident at some point but I cannot for the life of me trace the issue.

There is a MASSIVE gap between the header image and the rest of the website. I have no idea where it comes from or why it only displays in IE7.

Any wisdom here would be amazing, it's been driving me crazy!!

IE7 really is not supported by developers these days, but you may fix some or all of the problems by making sure that your code is valid - as is, there are quite a few mark-up errors:

Check on the CSS too. http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

Thanks for this, I took a look. I'm not a particularly confident coder, so it doesn't surprise me that there's a lot of errors!

Any advice as to where in the errors to start looking?

I realise that IE7 isn't used much these days, but it's such a crazy problem - I was concerned there may be something that will effect the rest of the site at some point.

    Thanks in advance.

The link explains more about finding the errors - basically, use the validator results and look at the rendered HTML code of your pages - then backtrack to find the errors -- they can be in your content, .php files, or added by plugins.
