I want to ask why in twenty ten, when the insert image in content appearing with the original size, though, I had to turn it down by adding the width and height commands. Whether there needs to be changed in the stylesheet?

You could add this to your style sheet.
div.entry-content img {msx-width: 640px; }
as well as go to Settings > Media and change Large Size > Maximum Width to 640px or whichever your preference is, then choose large/medium/thumbnail size when you insert image from media library to Post or Page.
