   Hi, I have a margin question as well for twenty eleven theme that i hope all can help with: under the header, there is a huge gap of space before the content begins... how do i narrow that space? here is my site so you can check it out... thank you sooo much in advance!!!! http://cheaptshirtsfast.com/

   There are several things causing the space.

   To get rid of about half of it, add this to your child theme's style.css. (If you aren't using a child theme, it is highly recommended)
   

   #main {padding-top: 0;}
   .singular.page .hentry {padding-top: 0;}

   Some of the space is a result of not having a title. You can add a title on the edit page screen, rather than having the heading in the body.

   are there any way to control the side margins and header margin?

   I have edited the padding values in the sytlesheet with no results..

   hi, the website is not online as yet before it is finished, basically i need the content area to be almost flush with the background..

   sry, i saw this topic covers exactly what i was looking for...
