Hey everyone. Hope your weekend is going well. I've got a couple questions below regarding the Twenty Eleven theme if you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it. I'm using a sidebar template for my pages and my blog is here:
1) Is it possible to incorporate personal images for each header per page so that a different header image comes up when you click through pages?
2) I want to incorporate a smaller image with caption under it on the right side of my page below the menu bar. How do I replace the Archives and Meta tags/links with an image and caption?
Thanks in advance
Actually, regarding question 2, is there a way to insert an image with caption below or above the Archives and Meta tags? I'd still like to keep those tags on the page.
[please don't bump]
Try the Image Widget plugin for #2.
For #1, TwentyEleven has an option for random header images. See Admin->Header->Default images.
vtxyzzy,
Thanks for your reply. Image widget is just what I was looking for. But as far as changing to random header images I want to have my personal images at random is it possible to upload my own images instead of using the default Twenty Eleven header images for random?
Thanks
There are many articles describing how to do this. Do a Google search on 'remove twenty eleven default header'. One result is here:

Just overwrite old images with your new images with same location via FTP and enable random on Dashboard under Header option. :D
@samfusion, I believe that you will lose your custom headers with the next WP upgrade if you follow this approach.

You can upload new images under "Appearance" / "Header."
Then select to display Uploaded images instead of default images.
As for Q2: You can also always use a simple Text widget and paste in the html for the image.

for Q1, maybe this plugin will help you:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-display-header/
I used it and it works great to assign custom header images to specific posts or pages.

Oh and according to this thread you can alternatively use the 'featured image' function to assign a specific header image:
