   I was adding a copyright to the footer.php file in the Twenty Eleven
   theme and noticed that the "Proudly powered by WordPress" should
   include the theme name and a link to the theme. At least that is how I
   read the twentyeleven credits action. The only thing that shows is the
   "Proudly powered by WordPress", which links only to wordpress.org

   Should the theme name and link to it be there? I don't think there is a setting in
   the theme options to turn it off.

   Hi there,

   No, this theme (like other default themes) does not include the name of the theme in the footer. The twentyeleven_credits action is in place for any plugin to add text or content there, however.
