    Hi all,

I'm a bit new here and setting up my first web page.
I'm already making good progress and find it much easier to use than i.e. joomla.

What I would like to adjust is:
    - The heigth of the white trip where the title is in.
    - Remove the search box from this same strip

Another thing I've noticed if you go to the page "voorbeeld pagina" and than to the page "coaching" in the menu the entire page shifts a bit. Can anyone explain this and tell me how to correct that?

    Thanks in advance!!

Here's the url to the page

    I would create a child-theme first,
then edit style.css and look for line 510
    and change this
    3.65625em 0 0
    to 1.65625em 0 0

Then I would go into the header.php file and comment out the PHP which is calling the search bar.

welcome to the world of child themes, forum search, and Firebug ;-)

before you continue with the customisation of Twenty Eleven, create a child theme to work with; http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
or download a free child theme, for instance from here.

an unedited default theme is essential for troubleshooting in case you get problems with your site. and it helps to keep customisations during upgrades.

the entire page shifts a bit

check the vertical scrollbar in your browser.
once all pages are filled with content, this shift should no longer happen.

for the other problems, try to see if using the forum search might get you some answers (unless you have used it already) and/or try to work with a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to find which styles you need to edit.
if this is without success, please post here again.
