    I created a copy of ShowCase Template and renamed the template accordingly. I then created my page using the template.

    However, I noted the Format of the Page goes all wrong, it spreads right across the page.

    If I set the template of the page to be the standard ShowCase it works 100%.

    I have not changed ANY code in the Showcase.php template.

    Even if I coyp the showcase.php to my child theme without any code changes it still throws the layout off.

    Please can anybody advise

  • Hi, make sure you imported style.css correct.
    Extra info here, give extra attention to:
    @import url("../twentyeleven/style.css");
    Hope this is causing it,

    ?

    Twenty Eleven uses the template file name of the showcase template for some correction to the body_classes;

    if you use a different template file name, you need to correct this with some code in functions.php of the child theme.

    please post more details such as the exact template file name, and possibly the full code of the template, and a link to your site – to illustrate how the ‘Format of the Page goes all wrong, it spreads right across the page’

    Thanks for your response, I do not understand what you saying but no stress I am going to consider another Theme.
