    Hi,
My tweetmeme buttons on all posts have disappeared as of Jan 5th around 10am EST/7am PST.

    http://www.prolificliving.com/blog/

I have cleared the cache, tested in several browsers, and changed some settings on TweetMeme just to Save Changes and still no luck.

    PLEASE HELP!
I have it displayed on top and bottom of blog posts.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Same for me on one my blog, the tweetmeme button just gone. And on an other, is still there but without the ability to be "click".

    Strange...

Thanks for any help on that issue

Same for me. It is missing. I have changed settings, cleared cache and even deleted and reinstalled the plugin. Yet it still appears on my friends site.

So glad I am not the only one but of course very frustrated as the rest of you. I have temporarily switched over to the regular Twitter Tweet button but really prefer to go back to TweetMeme. What gives??

I read on twitter by searching tweetmeme plugin that it has happened to many people and well all have one thing in common. We upgraded the plugin today. So looks like the upgrade did it.

I just have nothing right now as I don't like how the twitter tweet button doesn't put the title in to the tweet.

    Hopefully it's fixed soon.

Me too, I can't stand the way Twitter tweet works but I wanted to put something out there....I didn't Google it yet. Is TweetMeme team usually responsive?? Will it save all our archives of tweets per post?
    Thanks so much!

I think it should save as when I uninstalled and reinstalled and turned on the twitter one instead of tweetmeme it still showed all the counts.

Not sure how they are at responding. I found the support forum but it doesn't want to let me register. Said to check my e-mail and 3 hours later I still have no e-mail with login info. Even checked my spam folder.

That was my next question yes. The forum doesn't allow me to register either! I wonder if they are intentionally making it hard for us to contact them ;) Shall I leave a comment on their blog? :) It's so not the right way to get attention....

    Check this:
No updates or news about our problem...last issue reported was 12/22.

Anyway, if you think of anything else we can do let me know!
    Thanks,

If I think of anything or hear anything I will be back. I have also tried to contact them on twitter. Hope I found the right twitter account.

I am prolificliving on twitter by the way if you want to tag me too

    Hi All,

The TweetMeme plugin now uses the WordPress hook wp_footer() this *should* be in all themes at the bottom of your page. However if you have customised your theme you may have removed it, or your theme creator hasn't included it. You can find more information on the wp_footer hook here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/wp_footer

To add it to your theme open up the footer.php file of your theme and just before the closing </body> tag put in the following php <?php wp_footer(); ?>

Glad to see that the new upgrade fixed it and it is back to working.

Ok I'm afraid it's not looking right for me.

Mine too was fixed after the plugin upgrade. I have not made any changes to my footer yet.

So TweetMeme button reappeared and seems to remember, more or less, the # of Tweets from memory. Great.

BUT when I click on it, the @twitter handle is GONE.
Also, there is this tiny scroll-bar that appears on the side....

Can you please check into it?
    Thank you!
