Hi Jan - thanks for offer of assistance.

Tweet Old Post is on my own blog (a Studiopress Genesis framework theme) but it's not working on a client's site which is a Thesis theme (which is on latest WP version) - any idea how this might be resolved please?

    thanks
    Tracey

  2. Thank you for starting your own new topic. ;)

It works on your installation but not on the clients. One of the differences is that you're running Genesis and the client is running Thesis.

See if you can have the client try these steps working backwards just as a means to identify the source of the problem.

    On the problem installation:

    - Deactivate all of the plugins except the Tweet Old Post plugin and see if you can reproduce the problem.

    - If that does not work, switch the problem installation to the Twenty Eleven theme.

    - If you haven't already done so, check the plugin FAQ page.

When you use the plugin on the clients blog, do you get any error messages or blank pages?

    Hi Jan,
thanks for the tips - I'll try your suggestions of switching off plugins etc.

The plugin installed just fine, and I've authorised Twitter access & configured the Settings page, and the manual test button works by tweeting a single tweet immediately, but it's the ongoing automated element which isn't working - I realise I ought to have included these details when I first created this new post, of course - better late than never :)

I'll get back to you later... thanks again

    Hi Jan,

A quick update for you: with Thesis in place, deactivating all other plugins didn't work.

The plugin DOES work on my (Studiopress-themed) site, so I know the plugin is ok - but on my clients site I couldn't switch themes as it's a live site & she wanted it to remain like that - so I installed an older version of the plugin & the problem has now been resolved - not in the best way of course, but at least it is working, and she knows to not update the plugin going forward...

    thanks again for your help!
    kind regards
    Tracey
