[resolved] Turning autocomplete off on all password fields (2 posts)

I want to add the autocomplete attribute to all login password fields. I found the login form and password field in wp-members/wp-members-sidebar.php. Does this field reside in any other files? Essentially, I want to prevent members from saving their password via their browser option. Thanks.

You could add that using the wpmem_sidebar_form (for the sidebar login) and wpmem_login_form filters. (See: http://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/users-guide/filter-hooks/)

You would need to write a filter function to do this. I would probably use php's str_replace to simply replace the existing html tag for the password field with the same thing with the autocomplete parameter added.
