Turning a page into a category page (3 posts)

OK. I've been trying to figure this out for days: I have a WordPress site that I want to use as a CMS. I have two blog categories and the main blog page (set up in the 'reading' part of the website) I want to just display 'success stories', which I've managed.

The difficulty now is that I want another blog category to display on the website but to appear to be unrelated to the first blog category. Still with me? I want it to display in exactly the same way but on a separate page.

Just as the Success Stories category appears on a 'success-stories' page, I would like the Blog category to appear on the 'blog' page.

    Any ideas?

I've tried setting up a new template file, which worked, but then I was unable to sort out the pagination correctly (kept displaying the same three posts every time I clicked 'next' or 'previous.' Totally confused and getting very frustrated. Please help!

There isn't a way to 'associate' Pages to categories in the admin. If you use categories on posts WordPress will automatically give you access to a display of all the posts in a particular category if you use something like the Category Widget.

You can also create a Page and use a plugin such as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/list-category-posts/

Or the Pages article has the Page of Posts example where you can code it to say if this is Page X, display category Y posts.

Also if this is just an issue of putting both pages and categories in your navigation header see this:
How to easily display links to both Pages and Categories in the blog navigation header?
