Is there a way I can turn-off Tweet My Post for pages on my WP site? If I'm not careful, I'm afraid a new page I create will get tweeted by accident!
Better yet, is there a way to make it default to not tweet posts so that I have to purposely set it to tweet a post instead of automatically tweeting?

I can add those options. I will add option to set default for post and pages separately. It should solve your problem. :-)
But I am quite busy nowadays. You'll have to wait a week or two before this options come.
