Turn off excerpts!!!

I’m using the Oh theme, which looks great but is coded differently than I’m used to. But for some reason, even though I’ve selected “show the full post” for the home page, it only shows an excerpt. I’ve gone through all the theme files and exchanged anything with excerpt to “content” and it STILL shows the excerpt!!!! Please help!!
