How can you build a self-hosted wordpress on a domain that is currently mirroring Tumblr? User created blog on tumblr, had their own domain, so directed their domain right to tumblr. On WordPress install, unable to get to wp-admin, as it's directing to site.tumblr.com/wp-admin and not site.com/wp-admin.
Is there any way to do this? It'll entail a pretty big migration from tumblr to wordpress, and the user would prefer to not have the site offline while doing this.
They want to build a wordpress site, once it's ready to launch, turn off the domain mirroring, so it will stop directing people to the pre-existing tumblr site (that will continue to be updated) until the wordpress site is up and active.
Thank you in advance.
