Trying to use bootstrap modal – but bootstrap.min.js is loaded after my js

    Trying to implement the bootstrap modal and have added my js script in the footer after the wp_footer call, but the bootstrap.min.js is being loaded after my custom modal script.

    Where is the bootstrap.min.js file being referenced?
    I tried adding the bootstrap.min.js file again myself in the footer just ahead of my custom js, which works, but then my drop down menu stops working. Good times!
