trying to use a different language font in the editor ... shows as ?s (2 posts)

    I have a site that is maintained by a gentleman using a keyboard that types specific characters for the Igbo (Nigerian) language but when he saves it and posts the content the characters show as question marks (?s) Is there a language plugin or a way to modify the editor to allow for special characters?

    I am using Ut8 in the database
