   Hello I am rather new to wordpress. :)

   I am trying to upload a new theme via cyberduck ftp. When I open the "wp-content" folder via the ftp to place the new files, the "themes" folder that should contain the default & classic themes isn't a folder, rather a 'white file', where you cannot place any additional files. I am actually unable to view either the default & classic folders there, but they are installed and viewable via my dashboard.

   FYI I use a mac. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Can I place the themes somewhere else. Can I upload a new themes file to place this new theme?

   Any and all help is highly appreciated!
