americanlaserSo I just took over running our blog and I'm trying to get familiar with things. I want to upgrade as I'm running a pretty old version, but every time I try, it keeps asking for a connection to our FTP. So when I went on the support forums I did find this:
Note that your files all need to be owned by the user under which your Apache server executes, or you will receive a dialog box asking for "connection information," and you will find that no matter what you enter, it won't work.
Which was great! Except I'm not sure how to go about making sure that "all my files are owned by the user under which your Apache server executes."
This is probably a super newb question, and I'm sorry, but if someone could help point me in the right direction I would be forever grateful!
