Trying to make Blog Title and Tagline invisible (going crazy) (3 posts)

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make my blog title and tagline invisible, since I made a custom header with my logo on it in photoshop. I don't want to delete them because of search engines, and I couldn't do that even if I wanted to, because all the elements of my page would shift up and cut off the bottom half of my banner.

I did find this information on a wordpress blog stating to add the code: "display:none", to my h1 setting, but I can't find any code reading "h1" anywhere.

Any help would be great, I could show someone my code if they need to see it.

Thanks for your time. It's greatly appreciated!

I would be wary of hiding text because Google doesn't like you to "hide" content because spammers have abused this in the past. It's up to you, though.

Look in your theme's header.php and see what it calls the title. Then go into your style.css file and edit it there. You may have issues with your layout because sometimes using display:none will cause the elements to move up like you said.

Hi. I don't know if your problem is the same, but some others of us had luck with advice given on this thread:
