trying to install twentyten again

    Hopefully I didn’t royally mess up- I had twentyten installed, and then realized I needed a child theme. When I upgraded, it reverted to the new version (I saved everything on backup). I have decided I want to restart from scratch- my style.css was missing after the upgrade. So, I deleted the entire twentyten theme and tried to reinstall. I am now getting the error
    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/85/7674185/html/wp-admin/includes/theme-install.php on line 265
    What do I need to do to get a brand new twenty ten theme installed?

    What did you do to try to reinstall? You should only have to upload the clean version of the theme to the wp-contents folder and (possibly) work your way to wp-admin->Appearance->Themes and select it.

    Also, you should never delete the twentyten theme. That is the default theme and it serves as a fallback if there are problems with other themes.

    Basically I deleted everything from my themes folder, so it is totally empty. Probably should not have done that, but it’s already done. When I try to reinstall the twentyten theme, that’s when I get the error message. Should I call godaddy and have them reinstall wordpress?

    Before I did all this, I made a backup of everything on godaddy. However, the style.css sheet has been modified by me (didn’t know about the child theme until after I did this). I have not done too much, so starting fresh is not a problem for me. Should I have them reinstall backup, start over, or is there another fix?

    you can upload twenty ten theme from fresh download of wordpress.

    I just copied a the comments template from a prior website i worked on and pasted it into a new one which is a using the newest version of wordpress and now I am getting an error message.

    should I reinstall or is there a better fix?

    How do i reinstall with godaddy as my host?

    Please help.
