Trying to insert media gallery into Post, will not show up

I am trying to insert a photo gallery into a post… every time I insert a gallery a gray box with an image of a camera is placed into the post on the back end, but on the front end there’s nothing. This is what I’m doing:

Go to Add New Post
Add Media
Create Gallery
Upload files from computer into gallery
Click create new gallery
Click insert gallery

I’ve tried uploading the photos, selecting them from the media gallery, etc. and nothing makes a difference. The site I’m working on is http://www.suitehomechicago.com/wp and I’m using the Responsive Theme. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
