Trying to insert htmt into Page. "code" tag not helping !!!fo

Hi,

I am trying to insert a form into my page.

When editing a page in the html editor there is
a “code” tag. I assumed that this meant that I can insert some html
and the the editor would “leave it alone”.

But it doesn’t.

It insists on adding pagebreaks and paragraphs where I don’t want them
even when I bunch the code up and leave no spaces.

What is the point of that code tag ??

And does anyone know how I can paste my form html into the page ?
