[resolved] Trying to create a prayer request form (9 posts)

I'm working on a prayer request website for a small church/ministry.

What I want to be able to do is have people fill out a form on one page (your name, person being prayed for, relationship to person, etc.) and have those answers automatically populate on a separate page so that folks can read the requests.

Is this possible or is there a better way to go about this?

is an excellent form plugin. You'll be able to set your form up no problem.

As for posting it to a page...there are options for what you can do with the results of the forms....alternate actions

I'm not so familiar as I've never done it....but the support forums on their site is pretty active and in depth. Maybe you can find something in their FAQ/forum

Plugin works great for form creation, but I'm not sure how to get the results to show up on the page below the form:

What would you call what I am trying to do? I posted a question on their forum but I don't think I'm asking in an understandable way.

I guess I want the form data to post automatically when it has been submitted.

This sounds more like a guestbook-type functionality than contact form, maybe somthing like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dmsguestbook/ would do the job?

I ran across Gravity Forms yesterday but can't justify the $200.

The DMSGuestbook is nice but I can't add custom fields.
