Trying to Completely Remove User Registration (1 post)

    Hello all,

I have a peculiar problem. On a site I'm working on, I am trying to stop user registration. I have "Anyone can register" unchecked, but the site is still getting several registrations. I've checked the two plugins that may have overrode the user registration setting (which seems weird anyway), and I have set them to not allow user registrations. We are still getting registrations.

The plugins that are currently active are: Advance Custom Fields, Akismet, Events Manager (& Pro), Google Analyticator, Jigoshop (and gateway), Mini Twitter Feed, Simple 301 Redirects, TinyMCE Advanced, User Role Editor, Wordfence Security, WordPress HTTPS, and WordPress SEO.

Jigoshop had a "allow registration" and "show login form"--both of which I unchecked. Still didn't fix the problem.

How can I stop this? Do I HAVE to use a plugin to stop the registrations? Am I just missing something? Thanks!
