As you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors. In the meantime, try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

Yeah,
I have an email out to their support, but the turnaround time on an answer is less than desirable.
I have Firebug (a wonderful tool) but none of the changes I make on the front-end stick, and tracking down the root files has been a time consuming effort.
However, I did manage to find the ‘sidebars.css’ file in the root of the original theme (firebug pointed me here). How do I modify this using my Child Theme? I downloaded the file and edited it, then uploaded into the child. I can now see the file in WP Admin>Appearance>Editor and have made my changes here as well but still no effect on my sidebars.
Thank you for any assistance.
Apparently I’m close, the sidebars have changed for everything but my home page (set static if that makes a difference) any suggestions?
