Trying to change Piecemaker (embedded in template) to Easing Slider & ERROR (3 posts)

    Hi,

    I bought this template: http://www.templatesold.com/templates/wordpress-themes/wp-personal_creative/heritage/6028.html

With it comes Piecemaker, embedded into the html and CSS styling sheets. I can't get Piecemaker to work the way I want it too; it's far too fast and distracting for me.

So I have uploaded Easing Slider. This appears to be working, though only if I insert it into a page or post. I want it at the top of the front page, where Piecemaker is, as a header.

I have edited Heritage's files and removed Piecemaker (or so appears). However Easing Slider is not showing up, due to make lack of html/CSS knowledge: I grabbed Easing Slider's 2 CSS Style Sheets and pasted them in...

Looking at the Easing Slider usage it says you can use this method: Function in template files (via php)

Stupidly attempted to paste CSS into a html section and royally messed it up: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.' in /home/chodder/public_html/wp-content/themes/heritage/heritage/functions.php on line 183

Scrolled down 183 lines, can't see any '.'

EUGH!! Any help with either/both of the issues (1. putting Easing Slider as a header, 2. Error message) would be much appreciated!!

http://chloehodder.com/ (can't see anything now, only the error message)

Ok so re-installed the theme via Filezilla - did the job sorting out the error message. Just the Easing Slider in theme issue now!
