   All of my posts appear to be gone and replaced with this error message:

   WordPress database error: [Got error 28 from storage engine]
   SELECT * FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND (post_status = "publish" OR post_author = 1 AND post_status != 'draft' AND post_status != 'static') AND post_status != "attachment" GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 15

   Any ideas what my next step should be?

   Contact your host, it's a server issue, only they can fix it.

   See this and if that's above you contact your host and give them the error and tell them to repair their database.

   Thanks for the quick feedback. It's nice to know that I didn't do anything wrong. I've contacted my host (DreamHost). Hopefully this will be resolved quickly.
