I just managed to enable the multi site function in WP 3.1.3.
(Went true the hole process (also for the subdomains))
I can submit a site to the network, but when I want to visit it, it tells me that the server can't be found...
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Ask your host if wildcard subdomains are set.

Indeed, just got a mail from them... they need to change the nameservers manually...
(could have been searching for days :o)
Hope it will work after this.
Yes wildcard subdomains are a two step process. One is dns records, the other an apache configuration.
