Hi all, I just noticed something weird on one of my blogs. When I open the RSS feed in Firefox 2, my posts are truncated. When I open the same feeds in IE7, the full post is displayed.

I’ve checked Options / Reading, and full-text is selected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris

  • If you check the source of the feed page in Firefox, you’ll see the full text on each item/post. So it’s the browser doing this, not your blog settings.

actually I didnt see full feeds when I looked at the source, either in firefox OR in ie6 .. I didnt look in ie7. Going back now, they are full text. Odd. I know I wasnt hallucinating either 🙂

whooami, perhaps lenwood was flipping the switch.

    perhaps 🙂

Hi All, thanks for enduring my question. This was a setting in Firefox. Once I opened my feed in Google Reader and saw the full posts, I knew that this wasn’t anything to do with WordPress.

    Thanks,
    Chris
