   It would be nice to be able to limit the description on the listing page to a set amount of characters, say 300 or whatever one chooses. Then finish off with a read more link which would go to the full event.

   I have included this in version 0.3.4 which I have release some minutes ago. To achieve your requirements add the shortcode attribute "details_length" with the number of characters you want to diplay.
