clear cache? hold shift hit refresh...
try that first...
huh? can you dumb that down a few steps? I'm new to this. :)
Okay wait, I refreshed the page (while holding shift) that shows the two default templates. Nothing happened.
can you see it using ftp? Is it for sure there?
where is the blog?
what is the name of the directory you are uploading the files to?
what is the name of the theme?
Can I see it? No. I just uploaded the whole file from my computer to the server, not using FileZilla.

wp-content/themes
sade-10
ok, then this shouldnt be a 404:
http://naturalhappyandfree.com/creativewriting/wp-content/themes/sade-10/index.php
so you are not uploading the files to where they need to be.
Thats WHY I ask for more info before trying to answer any questions.

Look at how the 2 themes that are included in WP are located on your site. If you look inside the default directory, and the classic directory, you see several files that end in .php and a style.css --
Sade-10 is located in the same file as the two default ones. I don't get it. Should I reinstall them?
reinstall what? the other themes? why? you want to break those also?
Sade-10
and sade-10 are NOT the same thing

Take a screen shot of what you see please, if you can. and out it somewhere so that we can see.
I need help also.
I set up WordPress through GoDaddy, I don't know how to upload thru FTP.
mortgage_maker,
Thats Internet 101 -- and godaddy provides you with help:
Then learn it.
Scroll up, click on Docs and there search for FTP - you will find everything you need to know.
whooami, i don't follow you. i'm new to this. i can't take a screen shot.
reinstall the same themes, because maybe they didn't install right. It was sade with a lower case "s" but I tend to use capitilization without thought. Sorry if that confused you.
Sorry if that confused you.
Using capitalization without thought confuses your server, not whooami :)
Noted.
So back to my Q: Why can't I get the templates to upload?
i can't take a screen shot.
well, I wont even ask why you cant take a screen shot. And you didnt confuse me, I pointed out the difference so that you understand that filenames and directory names are case sensitive.

So, how did you upload the theme folder (theme are NOT one file, they are many files in their own folder) to you server?
Explain it nicely in details...
that video needs to be stickied somewhere. I had to hunt to find it, but figured there had to be at least one -- somewhere. If that one isnt clear enough, there are several "related" ones as well.
I did finally get to the FTP sit eon godaddy and I tried to uplaod the folder it that I saved on my computer.
It kept trying to save it instead of upload it.
when I try to upload my theme I get this message "The zip file must include a file named 'screenshot.png'."
How do I include a file name in my zip file? and what does 'screenshop.png' means?
Thanks for your help in advance.
If possible and you e-mail me the answer?
