    Hello,

I was trying to make changes in function.php file in order to remove the author link. I found a post online suggesting that I should remove some code on line 442. I followed the directions and got this error "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /nfs/c05/h02/mnt/73428/domains/katbasics.com/html/blog/wp-content/themes/twentyten/functions.php on line 442"

I tried to paste back the original code and still got the same message. I pasted a copy of functions.php with untouched code and no changes....still the same message. My blog is down and I'm very worried that I'll have to reinstall the theme and loose everything I've done. Please help!!!

Why don't you just download the WP zip again, pull out the function.php and use it to replace the modified function.php?
