After I uploaded a PDF with the Add Media function I cannot link to the file. I even tried to link to it using the "Insert/Edit Link" function but WP won't let me click on that function. It has been working up until today. I do not know what is causing this. Can you help?

Have you recently upgraded wordpress or any plugins that may be interfering with this?

I did not upgrade WP today but I did upgrade a plug-ing, which I deactivated just to make sure it was not the cause of the problem. I used the HTML editor to link to the file but now I am not able to update the page. The update button freezes.
