   Creating with Fantastico all I get is an Index of admin-wp-- a long list of the index files.
   What do I need to do to open the WP site?

   Create an .htaccess file in your root domain folder and add DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm to the top of the file.

   Or ask your hosts to turn directory indexing off.

   I have my WP hosted by a german ISP. He gave me the login and Password for WordPress but is all in German. I would need to have WP in English. There is no support from the ISP, can anyone tell me how to switch from a german version to an enlgish one??

   hdickie, I think is not your hosting but it's more towards the installation of different language. Just reinstall your wordpress in english by downloading the file from wordpress.org
