Hi. Do you think there's anything that can be done on Crayon's end about this issue?

In summary, bbPress tends to eat up angled brackets and it somehow forces opening and closed quotations instead of straight ones, which breaks code snippets. It's causing major headaches on our forum.

So I don't know about the angled brackets. I can't ever seem to persistently reproduce our issues on that end, so if you don't know about any problems don't worry about it for now, I'll come back to that.

What I'm pretty sure you'll be able to reproduce yourself is this:

Post the following sentence in two different code blocks:
    what about "quotes" in here?

Try one in <pre> blocks, and another one in [java] blocks. Oddly enough, when I do it in a pre block, the quotations are not turned tilted. When I do it in a java block however, they are. Only on the front-end however. If I go into edit mode the straight quotes are still there.
