Trouble updating wordpress

    Im trying to update to WordPress 3.6 but it has thrown up this error – I have tried to deactivate all plugins but still it won’t update – any ideas?

    You may need to double check file permissions with your host.

    Generally when it says permission denied, you do not have write permissions on the proper folder.
