   Hi. I've successfully installed wordpress onto my site, however I'm having a problem importing blogger files from my account.

   First off, I've been using the newest version of blogger. So I have the proper account to import with using the import feature.

   When I try to import my entries, I follow the instructions to import > authorize. Then I sign into my google account and grant access to my blogger account. It thinks a bit and then I get redirected back to my wordpress backend with a message saying:

   Trouble signing in

   We were not able to gain access to your account. Try starting over.

   I've cleared data and restarted a few times, but it still gives me the same error. My account on google even lists my website as having third party access.

   Anyone have any ideas? Could this be a permissions issue with my server?

   Would appreciate help on this. am facing the same problem.

   Am also on the newest blogger... Basically am getting the same error as wildsproket.

   I seems there are problems with the importer.

   I ran across this problem as well trying to import from blogspot, here's another fix that works for me (the import is in progress now): http://www.cybercoder.net/import-blogger-to-wordpress-error.html

   Same problem here... I don't see a resolution posted by anyone. Does that mean that none of you were able to get it to work??

   I'll try the other options listed here.

   I guess if there are optional import tools, then you've all found solutions...thanks for the links Shadow and Hafiz.
