trouble of adding a new site on multisite setup

    i have setup wp w/multisite almost a year since version 3.0.5. i updated the verion to 3.2.1 and everything seems working fine. i tried to add a new site yesterday from the network admin mode, it created the record for the new site in wp_blogs, but it didn’t create a new table for the site. does anyone know anything about this issue? or i missed any setup other than add a new site through the dashboard of network admin interface? please help. thanks a lot.

    also, when i hit the submit button for the new site, it gave me this error, has anyone seen this before?

    Already Installed

    You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

    the problem that i have didn’t go away, i just found a work around it: delete the tables the script created for a new site, and try again, it works. hope that help.

    Hey,

    I figured out a solution, install http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/backwpup/ and do a database repair (its multisite compatible). That fixes it.

    Thanks for the other solution as well. Hope these helps the next guy.
