    Hi all-
Nuub here...I tried Moving a Root install to its own directory (to get the site to be http://www.productivecollective.com instead of http://www.productivecollective.com/wordpress - following this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

I moved the whole wordpress folder to the root folder (out of web/content). Am I supposed to move all the files inside of the wordpress folder out too?

I then performed the change on the index.php, and copied that file to the route, bu there doesn't seem to be any .htaccess file even when i show hidden files.

    help!
    thanks
    dan

I moved the whole wordpress folder to the root folder (out of web/content).

Move it back and re-read Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory again.
