(if you are on a shared server) have you tried checking with your server if they have changed anything in your account.
have you added any plugin lately that may have caused the glich? if yes, so if you have access to your admin panel, try deactivating all plugins. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the Default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue.
If that does not resolve the issue, it’s possible that a .htaccess rule could be the source of the problem. To check for this, access your server via FTP or SFTP and rename the .htaccess file. If you can’t find a .htaccess file, make sure that you have set your FTP or SFTP client to view invisible files.
I too am having the same problem. Delete the browsing history and the cookies does not work. However, if I change this http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=logout&_wpnonce=c788b0a6cf to http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=logout=true, that logs me out. I have looked to see if anyone has changed the wp-login.php file to fix this but have not found anything.
nothing worked for me…i changed the password and tried to log in…it wont let me. all that happens is either the username/password fields go blank. or after it says “connecting to pressherepublicity.com” in the lower left corner, it just stops working before it admits me access to the dashboard
no error message, nothing.

If you have Filezilla, use it to show you your files on the server. You will find one titled .htaccess. Make sure that you are in your WordPress directory. Right click on the file and select rename. Rename it something else. One caution, after you are done using Filezilla, clear out your password and username. Otherwise, you are wide open for anyone to access your account. Then, reset the password you use to log into your server. I hope this helps. Filezilla is a free program.
