trouble integrating forms within theme (2 posts)

    Hi,

I have working code that includes a form and submit button but I'm having difficulty integrating these .php files with my theme. How do I get such files to appear as a webpage within the wordpress theme?

When I call the php form or actually copy all the code
in the HTML tab of the wordpress page, I keep being redirected to the index.php page after pressing submit but this doesn't happen when I don't have the form inside the theme and just let it function within its original style.

Is there css within the .php file that I have to change? If so, I don't know where to go for the right theme code to integrate it.

    Thank you.

  2. I'm not sure how you would do that with existing php.
You could set these as a page and then insert an iframe in your WordPress page that calls the form.

A much easier solution is to use a plugin like Contact form 7 or gravity forms. It makes making forms much easier.
