Trouble Importing Moveable Type to WordPress

    I recently imported a client’s Moveable Type blog into WordPress, but the photos did not seem to transfer in the process and several people (client included) aren’t able to see photos in the blog posts that were imported (they can see photos uploaded through WordPress when new posts are made). Obviously the photos are still on the client’s old server.

    Can anyone offer any advice on how to get the photos to transfer, or why they didn’t transfer in the first place? Should I re-install wordpress and try it again, or is there an easier way?
