Trouble adding Google Analytics in Pagelines (2 posts)

I am trying to add Google Analytics to my wordpress site. I am using the Pagelines theme (free version). I previously was using a simpler theme and succesfully installed Google Analytics on the site however I cannot get it to work in pagelines. I have copied the code snippet from the Google Analytics Tracking Info page and tried pasting it in the footer, the header, the custom code section of Pagelines that says "Footer Scripts & Analytics Any footer scripts including Google Analytics," as well as installing a plug in to just do it for me! No matter what I try once I save and go back to the google analytics page the status will still read
    Status: Tracking Not Installed
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am admittedly a novice but I didn't have a problem before and now nothing will work!

Is your theme Pagelines updated ? It may not be working because of update missing . You should contact the Theme's forum/author for possible cause/bug that you are facing.
