I agree. It would be very powerful to have the option of when to trigger the animation. For example, when scrolling, when hovering with the mouse, or on mouse click.
…or even to trigger the element animating when clicking on a different element.
I second this (or third I suppose)! Having the animations trigger on scroll would be a killer feature.
Just found this forum thread after I posted the exact same request so I FORTH THIS.
99% sure I’ve seen this done with Shortcode Ultimate somewhere before. For me, it doesn’t even need to be a feature request although it would be nice but I’d just like to know how to force this on a single page with a bit of custom .js (if possible)
I guess this is a fundamental need for anyone using an animation below the fold.

@rreeve – This can be done using animate.css and wow.js to trigger the animations on scroll. It’s not terribly difficult, but it’s always preferable to include less plugins and external js when possible.
