   I only updated the "List of Files Revised" found at http://codex.wordpress.org/Version_3.1.1
   It worked well but when I go to edit or add a page/post I do not see the TinyMCE Buttons and the body of the text is in html code.
   I would very much appreciate help in getting my WP to work properly.

   Check your user profile subpanel to see whether you inadvertently disabled the visual editor.

   If this isn't it, it might make more sense to backup your site and replace all the WP files with the latest release, to make sure you get all the necessary files.

   I upgraded as well and seems as if there is a problem with visual tab does not show icons. Trying to find out if others are having the same problem.

   In my profile Disable the visual editor when writing was not ticked so I ticked and save and go back and un ticked and save and the icons started working.

   Thank you both, but I tried everything you suggested with no luck. I have the impression that its a mater of dbase update of the new version did. I don't know how to check this. Any ideas?

   I finally did a shift refresh and it worked. Thank you again.
