Well I really messed myself up!
    http://www.altitudeaerials.com/blog
was where my beautiful new WP site was. I just finished it today and attempted to change the install to the root, so I could loose the "/blog" at the end of my web address.

It got so messed up that I just uninstalled WP and re-installed it where I want it. So I've got a blank http://www.altitudeaerials.com now with a fresh WP install.

I have the entire contents of the /blog subdirectory on my harddrive if this helps. I did try just putting all that content into the root directory with no luck, it doesn't do much, except shows me my theme, which I have activated.

How do I recover my blog posts and pages and such? Are they screwed up b/c they were built under a subdirectory?
Do I need to re-write all my content?

Someone please shine a light. =)

not sure what a database is or where it is? I uninstalled WP using Cpanel, so i'm guessing it probably did delete whatever database you mean?

perhaps I could re-install WP under the /blog subdirectory, upload the files I have saved onto there, and then just try again to move them to the root?

Now that you have deleted the files and folders and if you did not delete any database then you will still have it there.

If you like can you meet me in skype if use it my Id is govindjip so that I can help you sort out the problem.
