Hello, I’m very new with CSS. I was attempting to create a larger size and style font for my posts and somehow ended up changing the post formatting so that photos are no longer centered, font colors are gone and the images that were the bullets in my sidebar are now regular bullets and showing up in places where they shouldn’t be. It also removed the border and formatting in my footer.

I tried copy the original code from the theme to start from the beginning and that hasn’t worked either. At this point I’m lost. I ran the CSS validator on the page but it’s confusing me and I think I’ve messed it up even further. Can someone take a look and guide me to the right area to fix this code

  • Try re-uploading a fresh copy of the theme.

if I do that will I have to read my header or sidebar codes?

Assuming you’re referring to widgets, no.

Thanks that worked but I did lose my custom header. I’m sure its saved somewhere. But the formatting is correct.

I did lose my custom header

Hmmm – that shouldn’t have happened. The theme should have just picked it up from your database. I can only assume that the theme’s developer made some significant changes in the theme since you last uploaded it.

If you’re trying to locate your custom header image, try looking in your Media Library.
