Tribulant newsletter working for you guys?

I would like to have one newsletter plugin for my websites.
From what i searched, Tribulant appear to provide the most powerful functions i want.
But the thing is , i bought one around 2009.Not working at all, even with Antonie’s editing in my dashboard….i deleted him in my skype two years ago…

So i want to know if this plugin has been really working?
1.Can it send emails actually?Back then, it was not
2.Do i have to deactivate other plugins or change my themes?
